If you want to use Mac to edit videos, but do not want to use editing software that is as complex as PowerDirector, iMovie will be your best choice.
Recently, I started to record the process of playing ps4 games as a memento in my life. I encountered some difficulties when using iMovie, so I decided to record the solution here.
What I want to record today is the method of inserting a picture in iMovie and canceling the default “zoom” effect of the picture.
How to insert the picture
Step 1: Import the picture
First, you need to import the picture into your project, use the down arrow symbol to select the image path.
Step 2: Crop image size
Then note that if the image size does not match the iMovie specified size, black borders will auto appear in the movie. In order not to have the effect of black borders, we have to crop the image size.
When cropping, there will be a cropping border to assist the aspect ratio, so there is no need to worry about crop errors.
Step 3: Select “Ken Burns” as “Fit”
First drag the picture to the position you want to place in the video, and then adjust the Style setting in the upper right corner: set Ken Burns to Fit.
Step 4: Stretch the picture to the length you want to display
In this way, the picture can be displayed normally in the movie.
