Ubuntu is a famous version in Linux family. Today I want to introduce how to install Ubuntu (18.04, or other version can use the similar steps).
If you want to experience Ubuntu in Window, maybe you can use “WSL”: “Bash on Ubuntu on Windows, the Linux subsystem on Windows”.
Step 0: Prepare Ubuntu 18.04 ISO
First, you need to come here and download Ubuntu 18.04 ISO: https://www.ubuntu-tw.org/modules/tinyd0/
Chose desktop version 18.04 and 64-bit. And then you can make a bootable disc or USB.
Step 1: BIOS Menu
Reboot your computer and set your boot device to disc or USB which one you choose. And then you will go into the install process.
Step 2: Installation
Choose “Install Ubuntu”.
Default and choose “Continue”.
Continue.
If you have more than one system want to install in this machine, maybe you need someone another options. But if you have no any OS in this machine, you can choose the first option and “Install Now”.
If you have no any important file in your disk, you can “Continue”.
Because I lived in Taipei, so we choose “Continue”.
Filled all information you want to use, and “Continue”.
And we start!
Simple installation is roughly as above. I hope everyone can use Ubuntu, a convenient and easy-to-use operating system.
