[Linux] Use "folder-color" to change the color of Nautilus folder

When we using Linux system, we can try to change the colors of folder to differentiate different uses. If you are using the folder of the Nautilus file manager, you can install folder-color tool to change the folder color.

In below, I will simply record how to download, install and change the folder color.


To Use folder-color

First, use the following command to install it:

sudo apt-get install folder-color


After installation, open the Nautilus, and right-click the folder you want to change color. If you can not see "Folder's Color" option, may be you can close it in terminal.

nautilus -q

And restart.

Commonly, you will see:

And you can choose any color you want.
