Note of the development history of Mobile Device and 5G

Mobile phones occupy a pivotal position in people's lives nowadays. Whether it’s social networking, entertainment, new knowledge, etc., we all rely on the information given to us by mobile devices. In an era when everyone is "self-media", we will also use mobile devices, or even more The ethereal "Internet" is used to socialize and spread our ideas.

The development of mobile devices and the increasingly developed network —— not only refers to the Social Network constructed by more and more people using the Internet, but also describes the increasingly rapid network transmission speed.

In the past year, most of the speeches I have heard are related to 5G. This is indeed a very hot topic at the moment. Even the things I study on a daily basis have nothing to do with Internet speed. I am quite looking forward to someday. Use 5G speed to play PS4, use computer.

Taking this opportunity, I want to record the development history of "mobile devices" and "5G" here, by the way, as a good learning opportunity. I guess that the development of mobile devices and network transmission speeds should complement each other. Mobile devices with better hardware and more excellent apps have spurred the evolution of network transmission speeds, and faster network transmission speeds have spawned more Great mobile devices and apps-this is also a symbol of the progress of human civilization.

It seems quite easy for me to become self-talking once I start to write an article. Now that the topic is far away, I will start to officially record the development history of "mobile devices" and "5G". Since this is only a simple and basic understanding, the goal is to limit the number of words to less than 2000 words.

Mobile device development history

According to the definition of Wikipedia, mobile devices are also called "handheld devices". Most of the devices are tightly pocket-sized, including mobile phones, laptops (you can’t fit in this pocket), tablets, POS machines, on-board computers, and so on.

Usually there is a small display screen, touch input, small keyboard, through which various information can be accessed.

The first handheld electronic device that became popular is probably a PDA. PDA, "Personal Digital Assistant", has common functions such as address book, memo, calendar, computer… This kind of mobile device can be said to be the pioneer of handheld computers.

But when it comes to the so-called "1G"-the first generation of mobile devices, it is necessary to mention the "portable phones" that appeared after the 1980s.

However, mobile devices at that time are not as rich and stable as they are today. In addition to often failing to receive signals, they are also vulnerable to eavesdropping. Some people think that this type of phone is just a "mobile indoor phone."

In any case, this device is actually too long away from me. I used to play with it when I was young, but I never really used it.

Mobile devices that have evolved from "analog signals" to using "digital signals" for communication are the "2G" that we call the second generation of mobile devices. This kind of mobile phone has already begun to be able to make stable calls.

Then finally enter the 3G era that I am more familiar with.

The purpose of this kind of mobile phone is "can be connected to the Internet, universally used in the world's unlimited communication system"-and most of the formats in this area are based on the so-called "CDMA" (Code Division Multiple Access), first of all First, the voice signal is converted into a digital signal, and then an "address" is set for each voice packet, and then transmitted to the air.

Just like the signals that can be seen in the movie "Lucy", they are all launched into the air(?)

At this time, mobile devices are a bit like our current smart phones. At the beginning, there are various apps in them (but they are usually built-in by manufacturers, and games from different homes cannot be run on other devices. ).

Then, I finally came to the 4G mobile phones that modern people are familiar with, but in a few years, I’m afraid I’ll see high school students holding 5G or 6G mobile phones at that time, and I don’t understand how 4G mobile phones are used today.

4G mobile phones are the main force of current digital mobile devices. There are a large number of apps that can perform various tasks, such as communication, taking pictures, recording videos, retouching, drawing, taking notes, recording… Apps with various functions exist. When I was looking for 3G data, I accidentally discovered that there is a radio-detecting camera app. As long as you take a picture, you can use theoretical modeling to restore the signal model around you. .

It’s too exaggerated. I really think that most of the App development market has already been done, and the remaining parts that have not been done are games with gorgeous special effects (large companies), or apps with powerful technology ( big company).

I don't know what further impact 5G mobile phones will have on the changes in mobile phones and social media in addition to faster network transmission speeds?

A simple addition to 5G

5G (5th generation mobile network) is an extension of 4G, and is also the fifth generation of mobile communication technology. At present, its communication speed is required to be as high as 20 Gbits/s. Oh my God, it's really an incredible speed.

The same as the previous 2G, 3G, and 4G is the "digital cellular network" (each base station is responsible for a fixed area, if the user moves to a different area, different base stations are responsible for receiving and transmitting signals). 4G is 100 times faster.
