[Word] Set The Chinese And English Font Style In An Article Separately

For Chinese-speaking countries, whether it is editing reports, experience, notes… We often use both Chinese and English in Word.

However, most of the fonts that Word can select by default are nothing more than optimized for one of the languages.

As a result, one of the language may not look so good in the same format.

Of course, we can first convert all the text into a unified font, and then slowly modify the font in another language according to our needs. But of course, this is really exhausting.

In the versions of Word 2013 and 2016, it seems that Chinese and English fonts can be directly set through font settings. However, I didn’t find this option in Word 2019, so this not was born.

The following will start to record how to set Chinese and English fonts in Word 2019. The steps are very simple.

Set Chinese and English Fonts

I use the following sentence for a simple demonstration.

Please forgive me for using such a stupid sentence.

Step 1: Select All Text, Select Chinese Font

All text becomes the font of my choice.

Step2: Select All Text Again, Select English Font

This time I chose the Arial font, and we can see that Chinese language has not changed accordingly but English does.
