Trackpad Sliding Up And Down On Windows Installed With Boot Camp Is Different With Mac OS

There is a useful tool like Boot Camp in the Mac OS, which can help us easily build a computer with both Mac OS and Windows systems. Of course, this requires us to prepare our own Windows installation files.

However, after I finished the installation and actually entered the Windows operating system, I found that the two-finger sliding up and down of the trackpad when browsing the web was actually different.

Moreover, I checked the network information, it can not set from the Windows or Boot Camp console.

The following records the solution I have seen: modify the settings of the regedit. This method sounds rather cumbersome, but it is actually much simpler than expected.

Modify the settings of the registry

Searching regedit in Windows and you will see it:

Then use control + f to search FlipFlopWheel. The first match item that is our current trackpad device (this is the case when Boot Camp is installed with Windows, and the method to confirm the correct device will be mentioned later).

Change the default value of 0 to 1. After restarting, the up and down movement of two fingers should be normal.

Of course, if you want to make sure that the modified device is correct, you can go to the mouse settings.

Choose other mouse options > Hardware > Choose the device that looks the most like a touchpad (usually there will only be one item) > Confirm the device name.

In the registry, multiple devices with FlipFlopWheel settings may be matched. You only need to confirm that the device name (very long and garbled) is consistent with the device name in the mouse hardware, which means it has not been modified. To the wrong device.
